Founded in 2019, Body and Mind Consultation Clinic in Sendagi offers psychosomatic medicine, psychiatry, and internal medicine services.

Overview

Accepting initial consultations daily! Psychiatrist is a female doctor with experience in large hospitals and clinics providing psychotherapy. Fee-based appointments are also available for those wishing to wait less than 30 minutes.

Open on weekends and nights: Wed. & Thurs. ~20:30; Sat. & Sun. ~19:00.

Body and Mind Consultation Clinic in Sendagi also offers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). In-office prescriptions are available, time and stock permitting. Credit cards are accepted.

　However, many foreign-born persons continued to make excessive demands due to the fact that they and their families disregarded the hospital, resulting in many cases of nonpayment and troubles that we have to consult police. The Bunkyo health center staffs told us that we can not to translate and bring them to another hospitals/clinics. 

　On 1st, Apr, 2024, we are afraid to inform that, but we are not able to examine foreign-born persons with health insurance. If any relatives and friends who takes responsibility or the user give us the home country address or phone number and your family can take responsibility, we may examine with health insurance.

Appointment Schedule

(1) Mornings: 11:00 - 13:00, Closed Friday mornings

(2) Afternoons: 14:00 - 17:00 (Wednesday to Sunday), Saturday and Sunday: until 19:00

(3) Nights: 18:00 - 20:30 (Wednesdays and Thursdays)

Closed on Mondays. Tuesdays and national holidays by appointment only.

*As a general rule, night consultations are women-only, but online appointments are available for men and women.

Please contact us by phone during office hours to make an appointment. If the clinic is busy, you may have to wait until the next available slot becomes available.

What to Bring to your Appointment

Insurance card (we will check this every time we see you)

Medication handbook (please check the type and amount of medication you are taking; we will ask about any remaining medication)

Health checkup results, including bloodwork, within the last 3 months

Results of examinations at other hospitals within the last year (x-rays, electrocardiograms, etc.)

Notice of change in reservation fees

The clinic reservation fees will change on December 10, 2021. These changes will especially apply to your first visit.

Please note that before you make a reservation, we will always ask if you would like to book a slot that has a reservation fee. We will also confirm the reservation fee if you reschedule after a cancellation.

・Appointment fees for first-time patients

Weekdays (11:00-17:00): 2750JPY

Nights and holidays (after 18:00 on weekdays; 11:00-12:00, 14:00-14:30, and 17:15 on weekends): 3850JPY

*There are weekday times when there is no appointment fee for re-visitors and 330JPY on weekends.

*There are weekday afternoon slots for re-visitors with 330JPY reservation fees.

・Final 15 minutes of slots before a break or closing

First visit: 4850JPY, revisit: 3850JPY

Wed.& Thurs. 12:45-13:00, 16:45-17:00, 20:15-20:30;

When visitors extend their treatment time due to lateness, the appointment fee is increased due to the burden it places on physicians who must work overtime.

・Appointment fee for re-visitors 15 minutes before the end of the treatment time, and appointment fee for reappointments at the beginning of Saturday and Sunday

Before the long vacation season at the end of the year, we receive a lot of inquiries for reservations, and we are sorry that we cannot respond to some of them due to staffing and facilities. However, there are still violations of the rules and regulations, even though we make free inquiries in advance to ensure that there are no misunderstandings. Since there are still issues, we have decided to raise the appointment fees so everyone can carefully consider the matter.

If the last time slot is extended by more than 60 minutes, the staff must work overtime. In addition, we have experienced problems with payment after a consultation lasts over an hour. Therefore, we have decided to set reservation fees in advance and will only accept people who agree to abide by these regulations.
